Good Afternoon, Everyone!

We are excited to officially begin practices today! 🎉 Before we get started, here are a few important notes for this week:

1. Schedule Change for Friday Practices
There will be no practices this Friday due to the church hosting a community-wide Family Night at the ball fields (Everyone in the league is welcome!)

All Friday practices will be moved to Thursday at the regular practice times.

If Thursday does not work but Tuesday does, please reach out so I can help make arrangements.

2. First Official Week of Practice
Since both Monday and Friday practices were rained out last week, this week will serve as our first full practice week. There will be no make-up practices for last week, but each team should still have three practices before games begin.

3. Rain Plan for This Week
If Tuesday or Thursday practices are rained out, we will move indoors either to the Impact Center or the Christian Fellowship Center (CFC – our old gym across the street from the Impact Center). Details will be sent tomorrow if needed.

4. Support for Tonight’s Practices

At 5:30pm, Dru Wynne will be on-site to help teams get started if a coach is not present.

At 6:30–7:30pm, I will be there to assist with anything you need during practice.

5. Coach Meeting Tonight
Coaches, please plan to meet with me briefly after your practice near the concession stand/field house. I’ll go over a few season details and answer questions.

6. Coaches Handbook & Rules
The Official Coaches Handbook PDF and Official Rules will be posted tomorrow. For this week, please focus on introductions between players, coaches, and parents, as well as soccer fundamentals (kicking, passing, scoring, etc.).

7. Field Preparation
All fields are painted for practice except Fields 7 & 8. Those, along with the remaining in-field dimensions, will be completed before games begin (the recent rain caused some delays).
